"My son Darragh has been in Réalta Draíochta since September. The fact that he loves going to pre-school every day is a testimony to Martina, Kathryn, Joy and all the staff. It’s such a lovely relaxed learning environment where the children can be themselves and where they learn to respect each other. A home from home but possibly more fun! The delivery of the Aistear curriculum is second to none. Children are encouraged to explore areas they are naturally interested in and to have fun doing it. The curriculum in Réalta Draíochta is truly child led in every sense of the word. The outdoor facilities are fantastic and Darragh especially enjoys the mud kitchen! He loves the walks he takes with this class in the surrounding area which is unique in that it brings a little of the countryside to the town. The Irish language and culture hold a special place in Réalta Draíochta and the “cúpla focail” is encouraged. As an infant teacher I can’t recommend Réalta Draíochta enough. By the time he finishes Darragh will be more than able to start his journey in “big school”.
